Ramesh Reddy, a visionary film producer, has made a significant impact on the film industry with his thought-provoking productions. Born in Nangali, Karnataka, into a lower-middle-class family, Ramesh Reddy’s journey to success was marked by hard work and determination. He began his career as a civil contractor and later became a vendor for Infosys in 2012, where he had the opportunity to meet the renowned Sudha Murty.
Ramesh Reddy embarked on his film production journey in 2017 with “Uppu Huli Khara“, followed by the musical hit “PaddeHuli” under his banner Tejaswini Enterprises. He continued to produce films like “Nathicharami” (2018), “Padde Huli” (2019), and “100” (2021), a family crime thriller starring Dr. Ramesh Aravind. Although he faced a series of commercial failures, Ramesh Reddy bounced back with the 2022 blockbuster “Gaalipata 2“, a sequel to the classic “Gaalipata”, directed by Yograj Bhat and starring Ganesh, Anant Nag, Diganth, and Pawan Kumar.
Ramesh Reddy’s production house has been on a roll since then. He remade “Nathicharami” in Malayalam as “Neerja” (2023) and “100” in Hindi as “Ghuspaithiya” starring Urvashi Rautela.
Currently, he is producing a Pan-Indian movie titled “45” directed by Arjun Janya, starring Dr. Shivarajkumar, Dr. Upendra, and Raj B Shetty, with a budget of over ₹100 crores. The film will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, making it a highly anticipated project in 2023 and 2024.
Mr. Ramesh Reddy has been actively involved in contributing to short film festivals, film festivals, and film award functions for the past two years. He has also participated in the Karnataka Chalanachitra Cup (KCC), where celebrities from the Kannada film industry come together to play cricket in various teams. Wodeyar Chargers & Hoysala Eagles, under the leadership of Suraj Productions, are the teams in which he is involved.
